The mattresses were once filled with barley straw, fibrous and consistent, which allowed to provide a fairly comfortable support and which could be replaced every year to restore the thickness.

The straw was also placed in a small layer at the foot of each vine plant, in order to ensure the conservation of the correct soil moisture content.

Trullo with walkable mezzanine, which can become a place for reading and meditation. It is completed by the bedroom area and a small alcove.

This trullo can accommodate from one to three people and is equipped with a double bed and one sofa bed  french style
